It all began on July 26, 2003 when G.T. Bustin was born in Mississippi. He was Saved— Dec 12, 1921 at 18 years of age. G.T. felt God’s call to preach 4 weeks later, January 1922 and started preaching soon after that. He married Lura May Cox on June 20, 1926. G.T.Bustin purchased the mission property at Summerfield, Florida in 1956.
His wife Lura May (Cox) Bustin was born September 23, 1904. She began serving God with G.T. right after they were married in 1926.
She served as:

- Writer
- Missionary in the Bahamas and Haiti
She was also a Mother of six children whom became missionaries. Lura May Bustin died and was buried in Haiti, December 1948 at 44 years of age after serving God for 22 years.
Claudine Bustin, the eldest, was born January 31, 1928. She moved to the Bahamas at the age of 13 then moved to Haiti at age 17. Claudine married Victor Chamberlin in 1950. Victor and Claudine had three children and six grandchildren – plus hundreds more scattered around the world. After serving God in Haiti, New Guinea, and The Gambia they have given almost the last 20 years reaching children in Cameroon, West Africa. Together these two senior saints (86 & 84) have given more than 126 years of missionary service.
Lenita Bustin was born May 2, 1930. She moved to the Bahamas at age 11 then on to Haiti at 15. In 1958 at the age of 28 years old she moved to New Guinea. Lenita died in 1997 at 67 years of age after serving 39 years in Papua New Guinea.

She helped a whole generation move from the stone age to the computer age. Lenita Bustin died and was buried in Papua New Guinea in 1997 after more than 40 years of serving God and touching thousands of lives for Jesus Christ. The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea wrote a eulogy for her.
Joanna Bustin was 5 years old when she moved to the Bahamas. At the age of 9 she moved to Haiti. She married Winston Wehrman and they have 3 daughters together. They moved to Papua New Guinea in 1964. Together With Winston, Joanna has given more than 50 years ministry / missionary work for God. Joanna’s second child, Cathy, had a stroke and is unable to care for herself. Joanna has been giving her 24 hour care besides taking care of her 3 children.
Paul Wesley Bustin the 5th of the Bustin children was born on Andros Island in the Bahamas on July 26, 1941. He began his singing career at 2 years of age in the Bahamas and continued it in Haiti. Later he married Joan and had five daughters. He served as a missionary in New Guinea and Australia.
Alma Platt Bustin had been a missionary nurse in Haiti and in 1950 married G.T. Bustin. She gave over 50 years of missionary service.
Gerald Bustin, the youngest of the six children, was Born in the Bahamas. He moved to Haiti when he was 2 yrs old. He preached his first sermon when he was 7 yrs old in the Haitian church pictured to the right. He went to New Guinea in 1958, at the age of 14, to live among stone-age tribesmen and began preaching within 3 months of arriving there.
In 1965 Gerald met the lovely teenage Roana Johnson who was with her missionary parents in New Guinea. In 1969 they were married and soon moved into their bush “mansion” in New Guinea. While there they had their two children Wendy and Gary. Together, Gerald and Roana have given 102 years of ministry and missionary service. They are especially thankful that both of their children are giving full-time service to God. . . .
Wendy Bustin started doing missionary work in Papua New Guinea when she was just 10 yrs old. Today she is Vice President of EBM, Associate Pastor of the Open Door Community Church and Administrator of Family Care Givers, Inc. Her son, Nicholas, is in training to be a 4th generation missionary), took a missions trip with Gerald and Roana to the Bahamas then a missions trip to Papua New Guinea where he quoted the whole of Ephesians 6 to around 500 people in one service.
Gary Thomas Bustin (G.T. III) married LeAnne Cohick from Colorado. They have 3 children— Arielle, Avery, and Alayna. Gary founded Samaritan Aviation and then went on to Found and lead PNG Tribal Foundation. Gary is the founder and President of the Papua New Guinea Tribal Foundation a Non-Profit Organization working to help the underprivileged of Papua New Guinea.
